I hope they don't just spend the entire episode re-creating Adam's old characters/skits.

 

I've only seen a couple of his movies of the last decade but he seems so low-energy now by phoning it in, I can't picture him doing his old characters

 

I think it will all depend on his attitude toward his old sketches. I’m sure the writers will all be pitching old stuff, and he would need to be the one to turn them down. Also anticipating a ton of cameos for better or worse

Wouldn’t be surprised if they do Canteen Boy if Baldwin is available.

Sandler’s entire career at this point is about putting in as little effort as possible. If he can trot out all of his old material to avoid having to come up with new stuff, he’ll probably do as much of that as possible.

 

Doing Canteen Boy in 2019 would be an.... interesting choice.

 

This is exactly why he'd be doing his old characters.

It would but part of me thinks they wouldn't be able to resist if both Baldwin and Sandler are in the building. I don't think they'd do it without Baldwin though.

 

I think they'll do Canteen Boy despite doing a sketch about sexual assault the way they used to do it wouldn't fly in 2019. Unless they do a "woke" version of it and have Canteen Boy put an end to it and they make commentary about #MeToo.

 

"I'm iPhone Arm Boy. Look, I have an iPhone for an arm. Now gimme some candy!"

 

Ah, and thus the annual cycle of “Kenan might actually leave this year!” and “Jk actually he’ll never leave” again resets

 

Wonder if Kate or Aidy will leave after this season. I think they’ve both been there for 7 seasons now, which is typically the initial contract length. Cecily has to be close to that, too, but I love them all and their absences would leave quite the void to fill.

I admire them trying something new for cold open but there were some truly bad jokes in that sketch, particularly during the Game of Thrones parts
