Haha I know nothing is reasonable to reasonable people but I guess I'm asking how much more a rental house is than an apartment, not in the city of course.

 

srsly how do yall live in NY or LA

move already, those markets are bonkers on coke

 

My apartment doesn't even have windows on the lower level, we don't have AC (but we can ask for a window unit for $50 a month), and our kitchen would work well if we were very tiny children trying to live as adults - it's $1500/month.

MOVE TO TEXAS. I know I complain about rent prices here but it's one of the most affordable places to live when you consider cost of living stuff.

My house rent is 1525 for a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath house with ac and a garage, 1 kitchen, 2 living rooms and a back yard.

Shit just move into my 3rd bedroom and pay me rent.

 

I seriously hated TX when I was there, sorry y'all.

 

Don't pay rent, just be a squatter in his house

 

srsly Texas’ quality of life vs cost of living has got to be maybe the best in the US

 

There's also very few places you can rely on public transportation

I went to Austin, Texas and had a great time and had some fire BBQ. It was hot as hell weather wise but otherwise I would go back there or explore other parts of Texas
