Had no idea Cudi was making decent music again. I liked all 3 of those new tracks.

Flying Colours is the only Shad album I've listened to, and I love it. "He Say She Say" is incredible. Need to check out his other stuff. New song is cool.

This might be a stupid question, but WZRD = Cudi and Dot da Genius, right? But this isn't a WZRD song, it's a Cudi song produced by the two of them? #complicated

    Not sure exactly lol.

Also I suggest everyone listen to Indicud again-- really misunderstood underrated album.

And I only listened to TSOL and his first record, not Flying Colours yet. I'll check that out soon!

Indicud is definitely underrated, didn't like anything after that though, and even a few songs on the album don't quite hit.

EDIT: actually, I don't think I like the majority of Indicud, I think I just lied ^

  9. Those new Cudi songs are a pleasant surprise. All In is a serious jam. The Frequency is pretty cool, too.

I plan on checking it out in a little bit. Not expecting anything good to come out of it tho

i actually really enjoyed the desiigner tracks that didn't sound too much like Future. Da Day is fucking cool but mostly cus of that feature, holy fuck who is that guy?

other than that he uses WAY too many BRRRRRRRRRDAHHH and KEYA KEYA sounds throughout the tape which is annoying af at a certain point. on Make It Out he snaps and its pretty cool. the energy is the most impressive part of the tape, other than the amazing production. wish kanye lead him in a different more original direction

Couldn't find the Desiigner tape anywhere. Went to the Datpiff link but it said it was removed.

Hey, I'm looking for some recommendations. I see a lot of posts in here about lots of artists I've frankly never heard of, so I don't know where to start. I work a lot and don't have time to explore lately. My favorites are Nas and A Tribe Called Quest. But I am looking for some more modern artists to listen to. My current favorites are Kendrick, Kanye, Future, Drake, Young Thug, and Chance. I know I previously asked for some Lil B album recs, so I'm hoping I'm not ruining the thread's vibe/conversation. Thanks in advance.

all his old tapes are like 24 songs long and unfocused, this is probably his best/most consistent release yet but he had some insanely high highs on those older ones, i made a quick post when the vid for his collab with french montana dropped earlier this month

really his most immediate forebears are gucci and boosie, so if you know them then youre kinda all set imo
