I'm not just making this up, it's real.

 

I love untitled, I would even go as far as to say it's just favorite album to spin( no I don't consider myself a music connoisseur, I just like what I like.) That being said I would be blind and foolish to say nostalgia played no part in my liking it at all. It does hold great memories and the songs mean a lot to me in their own unique ways. It's not all nostalgia I do enjoy the songs for what they are. Buuuuuut it's foolish to say nostalgia doesn't play even a tiny fraction in the equation

He was still alive when they broke up. He did that +44 record. The inner turmoil is what caused the most problems for the band.

 

Blink making fun of pop music by making pop music made me miss out on a lot of pop music.

And yes.

 

True, the inner turmoil definitely caused the breakup, but I wonder what a 2011 Jerry Finn produced blink record would've sounded like. Or a 2016 one for that matter.

 

Might as well ruffle some more feathers, I think that Neighborhoods and Untitled are roughly equal in quality.

 

I think it would depend most on if Tom was willing to listen to other people. Once he decided what he wanted was best, I don't think anyone could stop it.

If I had to guess, maybe Justin Meldal-Johnsen or Ariel Rechtshaid may be ideas of where he woulda gone.

Bugs me a little that this new record of a band we all love is out and we're still arguing over tiny things. Enjoy!

Actually I would even say Neighborhoods is more consistent. Untitled's best songs are much better but there's also more I don't care about

 

Consistently bad, for the most part, sure.

 

I think Los Angeles might be my favorite track right now

I like "After Midnight" but man what if Feldmann had been able to refine it a lil bit, it'd be great.

I listened to California another couple times on a four hour drive. I'm starting to really like it. I want "Sober" to own the radio.

 

I agree. Though it reminds me of Linkin Park's 2012 album Living Things lol.

 

So did anyone else besides me NOT receive a download email for No Future? I ended up buying it on amazon because I really wanted it on my MP3 and I'm impatient

Hahaha not a fan of Linkin Park but funny because when I first hear Los Angeles I didn't like it at all but now it totally grew on me.

 

I would kill to hear "Natives" with Feldmann's production honestly.
