The post i’m referring to basically just listed everything that happened this past week plus an additional bit that hasn’t happened yet. Post was from December-ish.

Has anyone watched the episode with CC to see if it's written?

It doesn’t say anything except “yelling” or something.

People made this up because they're mad Arya was the one who killed the Night King.

Hot take (to some people at least): If they go through with the valonqar prophecy from the books, it will be an extremely bad look.

I’m sure a LOT of this is because of trying to avoid actual info or spoilers and add to the hype, but that quote is basically word salad.

Ok, so after watching the episode again and reading many, many complaints about last week's episode, I totally understand why people are upset about the way everything down. I really do.

But I think the worst part about everything is that D&D kinda backed themselves into a corner as far as how to pull off an ending that people will be invested in, or that will have high stakes.

With Arya being able to transform into anyone and having knowledge about the Red Keep's secret passages, she feels pretty OP, especially after taking out the most feared individual in the land. Dany still has two dragons, and Bran could just warg into the Mountain and kill Cersei. There are now two clearly divided sides with good and bad guys, and that makes things less interesting.

I don't know, I'm still excited and will watch the shit out of these next 3 episodes, but my anticipation has been lessened ever so slightly.

Also where the hell was Lord Royce last week?????

I feel like they didn't mention that exact part of the prophecy in the show so they could have some wiggle room at the end. The closer it gets (and the more these prophecies end up being unimportant), the more I feel like they will deviate from that and have Cersei go out in a blaze of glory. Possibly lighting some wildfire and taking herself out with a bunch of other main characters.

  10. Eh, if they're not cowards they won't be done with the "so exactly how similar to daddy IS Dany" storyline yet. Still some room for grey area ( I hope)

She could goad Dany into a "dracarys" moment, realizing there's a cache of wildfire underneath their feet, which ends up taking out a few other mains in the process.

My gut is still that the ending will be very safe and easily digestible, but I will laugh forever and ever if they do something super crazy and divisive at the last second. It would be so satisfying.

Yeah, at this point I'd rather something nuts happen to piss tons of people off. I don't think I even care really what ends up happening.

I think the name of the game has been betrayal this whole time, so SOMEONE is getting betrayed.

I also still think at least one of The Big 3 are dying, and I'd put odds on it being Dany. Also think it's close to 50/50 that two of the three die. I'm betting on either Dany/Tyrion or Dany/Jon....I don't think Jon/Tyrion both die.

  19. I think we end up seeing Cersei use the people living in Kings Landing as a shield to see if Dany would hurt the people she wants to rule over.

Or she goes nuts again and blows her own city up.

Either way, very excited for that episode.

If Jon dies again what was the point of him coming back? He didn’t kill the Night King obviously haha

He was still the leader/main reason why they were able to defeat the army of the dead, even if he himself didn't kill the Night King

I mean, Jon unified the entire north, including the wildlings, and mass manufactured weapons built to kill the undead. Also put his life at risk by allying with Dany. Also also he's still got that whole legit claim to the throne thing.

True, he didn't kill the NK but he's still a big deal.

I really hope the child of the forest/3ER story line isn't entirely over. I think "Bran" still has something up his sleeve.
