People who hate hip hop/rap are the same people who says the same about country music.

 

Believe it or not, that one is unpopular in my friend circles.

 

I know but I love RoC too much

 

I think both have an equal percentage of misses and an equal percentage of great stuff

 

Early TMV > post 2006 TMV

 

The drop off after Amputechture is immense and nothing worth listening to, imo. But everything up to that album is pretty much perfect.

Jon Theodore leaving was the death knell for that band.

ATDI on the other hand, I like a few songs maybe and that's about it.

 

I mean I dont like much country either. At least not modern country.

 

I really liked a good portion of Octahedron

Jon’s drumming was a crucial part of their most beloved albums

 

I'm not big on it but I do think it gets WAY too much hate

 

I can’t say I dislike any of TMV’s records, they all have their strengths and weaknesses. I find that their later material just wasn’t as good as their first few albums and that’s just my personal preference.
