Really hope they get absolutely humiliated tonight, with Messi spinning VVD like he did Jerome Boateng that one time lol, but I have a horrible feeling they will win, get to the final, then win that :verysad:

That Boateng spin goal is still sexual

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Would like to see Liverpool go through. I suspect that Liverpool vs Ajax would be the better final. However, not sure if Liverpool can do it. Even with all their attacking power, it's a lot to ask to out do Barca.

Ajax losing to Liverpool would be more painful than them losing to Barca for me, or even Spurs winning the 2nd leg tbh. You wouldn't begrudge them for winning it - I honestly think a backline of TAA, a fully-fit Gomez, VVD and Robertson, with Allison in goal, is as good as if not better than any in the world right now, so their strength in defence and going forward would make them worthy winners.

It's just the damn fans! There are a ton of them where I live (even though we are 250+ miles away from Liverpool) and they are the most arrogant, bird-brained fans of any sports team/franchise you will ever meet and I don't want them to have any excuse to celebrate. I usually go out to watch the CL final each year, but watching a game in public with Liverpool fans is a nightmare so if they got to the final I would stay home lol

God damn. The man is a legend to me, hope for a full recovery but maybe time to hang up the gloves :tear:

    I do not exist.

I hope Liverpool win and will always support UK teams in the Champions League until they face each other.

I agree that it seems a big ask as well, especially when chasing City in the Premier League as well.

Depending on which Messi and Pique show up tonight, the tie could be over by the 60’ mark

I won’t be home in time for kick off so expect a banging game for the first fifteen minutes and then the complete opposite once I turn the tv on

Urgh, I can still see Liverpool winning the double. There's nothing I'd hate more, but they're a different team this year.

  13. Would love to see Liverpool get hulk smashed today

  14. Unrelated to the current game, but Juan Foyth should be the Spurs starting RB from here out. Trippier has been awful. Foyth is so fun to watch on the ball and he facilitates so much better than Trippier.

The rumours of United wanting Trippier scare me no end.

This Liverpool kit looks like a knockoff of the US national kits from a few years back.

  18. Yeah, I think Trippier and Eriksen are going to be sold. Probably Wanyama as well. I actually think Toby will sign a new deal.

Jordi Alba is probably the best assister in the sport after Messi...but I also suppose having Messi and Suarez as your main targets helps that.

I don't think we're in for him. The only "rumour" is that he would prefer to join us than Napoli.

Wanyama should be no one near that Spurs squad. If it wasn't for you selling Dembele and literally every other midfielder in the squad being crocked, he'd be basically gone already. Who have you been linked to so far? Rabiot has been mentioned hasn't he?
