I'd much rather see a band in the same realm as blink be the support, but that's just my personal taste. Just seems to flow better that way. I thought it was weird when the Honda Civic Tour lineup had Paul Wall sandwiched between The Academy Is and +44, felt like the majority of the people there were like uh okay I guess haha. However, I get it and I'll still go regardless. Just not really a fan of Lil Wayne but idc.

 

I bet they could even do like a residency at a big casino in Vegas and a fuck ton of people would come out and see them ...

I'm not tryna discredit their success, I really want new blink to succeed, but I do legitimately think their Radio success & Touring success are separate entities at this point, and I just want them to make smart decisions about their future as a band, and I don't think from a business perspective touring with Lil Wayne makes sense.

I guess I was just being snarky about the implication the groups share the exact same lyrical content, when there is actually a fairly obvious difference. No offense intended, haha.

I think after all these years they're pretty smart about the whole business side of this band.

 

Like it’s your kid, you’re the parent, and you can raise that kid however you want. However I, who is also a parent, would not take my daughter to a Blink 182 show because I find their music is not appropriate for a child to be exposed to.

 

also this statement makes no sense because you can leave before the other headliner comes on too, no one is forcing you and the kids to sit through Lil Wayne's set if he goes on last.
