I wish we got at least one shot of Ghost tearing into some wights

 

It's cool, we might get some shots of Ghost tearing into the Golden Company

 

Rewatch thoughts:

-Missed how before Jon gets stopped by Viserion he passes Sam crying trying to fight off wights, gives him a look, and keeps going.

-Also picked up how obvious it was that Arya was gonna be the one to do it with Melisandre’s very prolonged look at the beginning and then their conversation before Arya jumps off to the Godswood.

-I’m betting on Sansa and Tyrion remarrying and having children now.

-I can see Euron taking out a major character, as much as we’d hate to see it.

-Jon continues to be Jon and stand there when the Night King stops. Then runs and stops again when the NK turns around. Then continues to stand there and basically wait for the dead to rise again and attack him. But i guess you could chalk it up to Jon feeling pretty terrified there.

-Dany finally had to use a sword and stick em with the pointy end.

-I thought Emilia played Dany’s grief towards Jorah at the end well there, overall top notch acting from everyone.

I enjoyed the hell out of that episode as I was enthralled throughout the whole thing. I had no complaints about it being too dark at all aside from some blotchy shades of grey from the dragon scenes which were a different issue anyway.

 

I also loved the return of Stannis’ score at the end for Lady Mel, and Arya/House of Black and White’s score when she first appeared on the castle walls kicking ass

I’ll bitch the entire time and hate it. I feel like The Mountain probably has one death to dish out as well (probably not The Hound)

I never really had much belief in Cleganebowl happening but now that he’s survived TBoW I think it’s more likely than ever to happen.

I’m wondering exactly how Bronn’s orders from Cersei are gonna work out too. I’m thinking he’ll get Tyrion at a standstill somewhere, talk to him instead of pulling the trigger right away and then have someone else from the north who hasn’t met Bronn kill him.

Edit: They actually already did that with Jon Snow and Ygritte, so maybe not.

 

Bronn still being in the show is the most confusing thing for me. I have to imagine he serves some purpose considering I'm not even sure he's appeared in the books since Storm of Swords. He did say to Jaime "only I get to kill you". That'd be a fun callback. But also kind of a lame ending for Jaime. I really have no idea.

Why the fuck would they send Ghost out when they know damn well that the only way to kill a zombie is dragonglass or v steel. Ghost could tear one apart but it wouldn’t amount to much when there’s a literal sea of them rushing in

 

Seen some full on galaxy brain shit talking about Euron pulling out Dragonbinder lmao

I would be in awe if they pulled that shit.

 

I still think Bronn is gonna just end up being friends with Jaime and Tyrion again lol

 

i def keep coming back to the Tyrion/Sansa moment, that was real sweet and earned

 

This better be what happens. Even though he’s really only loyal to himself, I don’t see why he would kill Tyrion or Jaime just because Cersei told him to. He has been around her long enough to know that he can’t trust her word.

 

I thinking if anything Bronn is one of the prime candidates to be the one who betrays Cersei at a crucial moment and gives everyone else a chance to win. He has to know that he’s way more likely to see any kind of reward if Tyrion is the one who will give it to him/advising the person who will give it to him. It’s the best chance of him getting his castle.

 

Keep in mind that Cersei already gave him two carts full of gold up front.

Which also means he's got the money already so he could betray her and still have his riches.

Thinking back to the second episode, I think the writers were trying to give us a hint it would be Arya. She sneaks up on John in the Godswood and even he wasn’t sure where she came from or how she was able to surprise him.

Any chance Sam is bitter towards Jon after he just kept running towards TNK after he saw Sam screaming for help? I would hope not, but was just thinking out loud.
