Not easier, just less confusing by giving you a way to actually kind of track the side quests

 

I heard they made the boss fights easier/made where you have to hit it more obvious, is that true?

The quest thing sounds better than the original though. I'm not sure why I'm even complaining, I'd still play it and have a good time haha

After another day playing, I'm starting to like it more and more. The stories are kind of weak, but the gameplay makes up for it.

 

with the eevee and pikachu on it? if they have it and you want a switch you should get it! I had to buy mine on eBay (for a markup) because they were sold out everywhere around me.

 

Yeah. Problem is I have two switches already. One currently doesn’t play carts. But I wish this one was still out before I had got my second one

this is accurate. The story is nothing special, especially for a JRPG. But the gameplay, music, and visuals really pulled me in.

So I'm obsessed with lists and constantly work on my EOTY lists throughout the year and like to predict what it will end up looking like and looking at what we know so far, my favorite games list might be dominated by Nintendo this year.

Pokemon Sword & Shield, Animal Crossing, Links Awakening, Super Mario Maker 2, Luigi's Mansion 3.

And that's not even taking into consideration that it's just a matter of time before a Pikmin 4 announcement.

What a year. So excited.

 

I think it'll be my first year in a while that my top 10 will be dominated by Nintendo games

 

I think Yoshi is my GOTY so far tied with Sekiro.

 

Same. Outside of Nintendo I'm looking forward to Jedi Fallen Order and Borderlands 3 but I really don't know what else is coming. Gears 5? Watch Dogs 3? Speaking of which - I'm so excited for E3. Planning my podcast about it as we speak. Do we have a specific E3 thread or does everyone generally just theorize in here?

 

I passed on Yoshi because it looked a little too easy. Even my wife blew through that demo and thought it was a little boring and she's pretty shitty at games. How is it in comparison to like, Kirby Star Allies?

 

Probably the exact same. And dying doesn’t really matter. But it’s really fun and inventive

 

I might get Yoshi soon as there's not really anything else I'm interested in right now... Think the next game I'm interested in is Fire Emblem and that feels ages away

 

I've also been contemplating it, but haven't gone for it because of the difficulty. If it ever drops below $40 I might go for it, but otherwise I don't know that I can justify it.

 

Maybe you could trade it in for partial credit? or sell it to a friend who doesn't mind an all-digital library ahah.
