I bought 9 at launch without reading a single review or watching a second of gameplay and have since added emailing Koei every single day demanding a refund to my morning routine.

 

I beat one boss in cuphead today.

The whole Ashina Castle/rooftops segment in Sekiro is fantastic.

 

I didn’t realize you just cure all the dragonrot you’ve accumulated with one droplet. I thought I had to keep clearing it until it was at the percentage I started at.

 

When I realised this it made the dragonrot mechanic seem so pointless

there is no fucking way I'm getting anywhere near that game unless someone pays me lol it sounds so fucking boring

 

Playing Days Gone because I was in the mood for something like this. It's quite good. Nothing original of course. My biggest problem with it is that I can't stand the guy you play as . Most annoying voice I've heard in forever.

 

I heard he grows throughout the game like significantly so give it some time. I mean the voice will still be the same but ya feel me

 

Does this accent actually exist? Where ever he's supposed to be from I never want to go there lol

 

This game is far from perfect and it's nothing original, but it makes me wonder why people hate on this game and then praise other games that you can say the same about RDR2

I hardly ever look at reviews these days, before I buy I game I watch gameplay videos instead, and I can't help but think that a lot of people opinions on games are based on what they read on the internet, rather than their own experience with the game.

 

I watched a couple of videos for DMCV and the art direction is like so against all my aesthetic preferences I just can't get anywhere near it. also wtf at half the screen being cracked glass.
(and I didn't really enjoy the demo either)

 

I went in blind to DMC5, that was a mistake lol

Felt very last gen. Repetitive hack and slash game. Also hated the V guy that you play as for part of iit.Don't understand what people thought was so good about it.

 

I think people enjoy it precisely because it's a throwback to an era of games that aren't really being made anymore.

I just thought it felt lifeless and stale. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
