I would be down with this but I don’t really see it happening. A lot of artist colleb and don’t tour together

I know that we have already discussed the whole "industry plant" but am i the only one who thinks I Prevail is the biggest one of all? Do they even draw people to their shows?

Looking at the images from their show in KC the other night, it would appear soon

They’re just trend hoppers, it’s clear they have no artistic integrity. But if your biggest influence is ADTR (no disrespect), are you really a respectable band?

John // OC now, OH forever.

The best part of this is the reason he found Jesus: he did a mountain of coke and nearly died alone on a balcony at a party.

For real, how are you in a punk band and have those types of views?!

    The Pope Who Found Jesus

Sometime around 1998, he was getting super into drinking and drugs. Used to chug a wine bottle and get into fights with his then-wife. Overdosed on coke at a party and almost died then became a born-again Christian. I think there's a few songs from before then that they don't play anymore because he doesn't believe in them anymore.

That sounds a lot like what happened to Scott Stapp...

They got SUPER lucky from that Taylor Swift cover, dude. Not a plant. They're headlining 2,000 cap venues, so I'm guessing they have a draw.

I saw one of their music videos playing in Target this other day. That was really weird to me

Yeah I Prevail got lucky. If they were a plant band they wouldn’t be on Fearless.

  23. Blink182Bouncer

Well, they're independent now, and somehow still getting their records in Target, so idk if that's for or against your argument but it is worth mentioning

State Champs (Pure Noise) and Mayday Parade (Rise) most recent records were in Target too. The bigger indie labels can do that as long as the band has a big enough draw pretty easily.
