FYS shows you a classic look at a band's cycle. 2007,2008 they were picking up serious momentum as a "hot" bands. Crowds grew like crazy. They were playing (opening) for rooms of 2,000+ people.

They're now playing in front of 400 people on the Main Stage.

I didn't notice there was a 30 minute break between the FYS and Tonight Alive streams. Looks like I will leave work after FYS!

This is Four Year Strong, not Falling in Reverse

I wonder why FIR isn't a part of the live stream. They're definitely one of the top 2-3 bands this summer.

I still think FYS is slightly more popular now than they were for about a year or so after In Some Day, Shape, or Form was released. They almost dug their grave with that album.

The problem with people is that they're only human

I may have my timeline wrong but In Some Way Shape or Form really seemed to just kill all their momentum

Yeah that album really fucked them up. After Enemy Of The World they were almost reaching ADTR levels in popularity.

These holes in the day with FIR and Pepper (and any other bands I'm forgetting) would have been great times to go on over to the Monster stages real quick or any of the other side stages. It would have been completely possible to watch part of Chunks set or all of Chelsea Grins set had they taken into account these gaps in filming the main stages.

I never really understood the hate for ISWSOF, I thought it was a good album.

Yeah FYS definitely picked up steam after coming back in 2014. They had one of the larger crowds I saw at Warped that year and the crowd went absolutely nuts for them. They draw better at Warped than they do touring elsewhere.

That's unfortunate. Hard pass on seeing them then

I think that's true for a lot of bands that peaked 5+ years ago. They don't always have enough dedicated fans to sell out huge venues, but at warped the nostalgia alone makes them draw well. I mean, WTK had a massive crowd on the webcast, how many people do you think they draw headlining?

I remember the first time I saw FYS was with Rise Against and Bad Religion. It was like a year after Enemy of the World came out and a few months before ISWSOF. At that point it sure looked like they were going to be huge.

Their return has been nice though. I thought the self-titled was quite good.

Holy fucking shit I never thought I would see the day FYS isn't playing Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die.

Yeah, I'm honestly surprised at WTK, but good for them. I expect Mayday Parade to draw pretty well too considering they have a pretty similar fan base as WTK.

Still one of the weirdest things I've seen happen at a warped date. People were chanting "bullsh-t" for about ten minutes and throwing things on the stage. No explanation was ever given.

The other thing was Soupy calling out Memphis May Fire at my date in Columbia, I remember that being all over tumblr.

I'll never forget the glory days of seeing FYS at the Church, both times getting shut down by the fire marshall, people used to go nuts for them back in the day.

That tour was sick and FYS got a huge reaction for my date that drew at least 4-5k. They would have been better off not releasing ISWSOF and riding the easy core waive for as long as possible.

I guess FIR is going to be on the webcast? And holy shit their crowd is huge.

Moose Blood was late and Eddy had to cancel his acoustic set last year for the Portland date due to the band not arriving to the show late. I was pretty bummed considering I could have seem him and Aaron West back to back.
