Oh no, i know where to get it, just for some reason all you people getting it killed the link for me and me only.

 

I think 'Home' could be a legit cross-over hit. More so then She's Out of Her Mind

 

My thoughts after first two listens

Cynical - Cool start to the album. Kind of reminds me of the way Wonder Years starts with There, There. 8/10

Bored to Death-just a great song. One of my two favorites. 10/10

She's Out of Her Mind-Sounds like more mature Enema to me. I dig it. 7.5/10

Los Angeles-Pretty sure this is what Tom thought he was making with Love is Dangerous. 8/10

Sober - cool summer joy riding song. love the piano breakdown 8/10

No Future-my other favorite. When Skiba kicks in on the second verse with "she said" I lose my mind. And the guitar on the bridge is excellent. 10/10

Home is Such a Lonely Place-a nice breather and Skiba just owns it. I don't think it's on the level of I Miss You, but still lives up to the ballad hype. Reminds me of Make You Smile. 8/10

Kings of the Weekend-this one doesn't do much for me but I enjoy the heavier guitar especially towards the end of the song. 6/10

Teenage Satellites-the lyrics make me think Kings/Satellites are a package deal. This would be incredible live. Strangely reminds me of So Long to the Holidays by Ugly Casanova at the beginning 9/10

Left Alone-I think I'm falling for Matt Skiba 8.5/10

Rabbit Hole-Besides the Dear Head part it's pretty solid, but not a standout on this album. 6.5/10

San Diego - I'll echo everyone else's sentiments that the bridge is SICK. 7.5/10

The Only Thing That Matters - I get people comparing this to Dude Ranch but there's something lacking for me. Probably will skip this one quite a bit. 5/10

California - Feels like the song a band would write on their way out, but I think there's a lot more out there for these guys at the end of the pier. 9.5/10

Lived up to my expectations and then some. This is exactly the sound I imagined them taking on if they would have stayed together in 03 and I could not be more excited for these guys. Hope everyone else is loving this as much as me! When Fillerhoods came out I was very disappointed, but I feel like I got the music I've been waiting for the last 13 years this time around :)

 

I already want to play the whole thing on bass.

 

Just finished my first full listen. Probably gonna hold off until the actual release. But first impression is its mostly good but a few throwaway songs. I'm fine never hearing Los Angeles or The Only Thing That Matters ever again.

And jeez the lyrics for She's Out of Her Mind are cringe worthy. Something I would expect the Madden Brothers to write.

 

Because I never want to hear either song ever again.

 

Album makes me feel kinda funny...like when i used to climb the rope in gym class.

 

I caved too man and I love it. I hope you and your brother enjoy it as well.

 

If you want to listen to the album regularly without those songs in it?

 

Home Is Such a Lonely Place and Sober are my early favourites.

i was smiling ear to ear during it, ha. it gave me the chilly willies!

 

Makes me wanna visit California now.

 

I would love to hear a Gaslight Anthem-version of San Diego.

Bored To Death + Los Angeles + San Diego = best songs, easily. Skiba is great always. Very Hoppus heavy album, kinda weird. Not 50/50 like some people were saying, at least it doesn't sound it on first listen. Not anything I didn't expect, but I felt the need to point it out.

 

Were there any Mark only or Skiba only songs? I honestly can't remember but I feel like they both had vocal duties on every song.

 

Dual on each song.

 

Just read that BTD is set to take over the #1 spot on the alternative airplay chart. About damn time

I dig the bonus tracks too. I like every track but some significantly more than others. Some might grow, others might drop off, but at the moment there's nothing I actually dislike on here. This is how blink-182 should have sounded after the reunion, it would've (and I suppose does) make a stellar comeback album.
