Honestly my only complaint is ending the album with Brohemian. Not even opposed to the song existing, but I think it should have been more in the middle like Built This Pool.

 

I don't want this album to end lol and it has 16 songs. SIXTEEN. I hope they make that EP

Normally I'd agree but I think it's a nice nod to classic Blink having it bookend the album.

 

I now see why Feldmann is so proud of this record. All Time Low, 5SOS, and all those bands need to take notes. This is a really refreshing pop punk album.

The joke songs would fit on the Mark, Tom, Travis show live album (you know, between all the Satan stuff), but coming from the band in 2016 I guess it's a little weird/forced.

 

The Only Thing that Matters is quintessential Dude Ranch-era blink.

 

I can't listen yet, but could someone tell me if Mark and Matt share vocal duties for every song? I heard Matt doesn't get any songs to sing by himself but all the songs we heard up till the leak had them trading off.

 

The chord progression at the intro reminded me of "The Party Song"

 

I can't think of any song that doesn't have both off the top of my head.

 

To be fair I don't think either of them have their own songs. There's PLENTY of great Matt stuff on here.

 

Eh, I feel like All Time Low are doing exactly what they want to do. A more pop punkish album would feel weird from them.

 

Don't forget we've still got the Japanese bonus track to look forward to.

 

That's funny. I did the same thing. I was waiting to see if the album was good before I got a California/blink tattoo. I really like the album art and I thought it'd be a fun tattoo.

I actually kinda like this line:

i wish that was the line so bad. i'm a sucker for nostalgic nods

 

I'll probably just lop Brohemian off the album and close with Cali.

I am so ear-to-ear happy with this.

On the bridge to Teenage Satellites, I thought Mark was singing "we're not astronauts" for a second and had a good laugh thinking he was taking a dig at Tom, until I went back and listened again.
