Surprised at all the support for DMD, it's probably one of my least favorite Andrew songs.

That said I'm voting Fire Escape.

Dead Man's Dollar is great, but Love and Great Buildings should have won this album handily. I don't know what's wrong with you people.

 

Jesus, the tiebreaks took out the two best songs on the album!

 

Fire Escape is my favorite from this album and imo the best one on the album so....I respectfully disagree

 

I just don’t understand this opinion, but okay!

 

Fire Escape

 

DMD is a gut-punch of a song for me. The story of how he loves what he does but it can be a struggle to balance with his family life, just hits hard when listening.
Subject-matter alone makes it superior to Fire Escape, for me. While it's fun to sing along to live, it doesn't hold any weight for me. Middle-of-the-road AM song for me.

And the finale has a damn tie breaker. I’ve had to break three ties in this album I think that’s a record. Of course my vote goes to Fire Escape though. On to the newest album!
