Is the issue with the jets that they're so stingy they won't trade guys to make their team better overall? It seems so obvious, they've kept all these young guys they have no real room to play. Why wouldn't they trade them to get better now? Idgi

It is. For the Predators.

 

They are, relatively. Still quite a few years in the “window”.

Some of the players have been a shell of themselves in this series, and really the entire season.

That comment has some truth to it though. This is essentially a wasted year with this core. So it’s closing a little bit more.

Personally I think a coaching change might be in order, barring any sort of miracle.

 

They need to shake things up this offseason. I don't know what that looks like but about the only people on or off ice I have faith in right now are Poile and Arvy. Need to fix the fucking defense because, for a team that supposedly has a handful of the best blueliners in the league, that has been atrocious this season.

So yeah we're probably still gonna be contenders for several more seasons but if nothing changes there's gonna be more first round exits and nothing else to show for this era of Predators hockey; 16-17 will be the peak

 

I always feel like pekka is done but then he'll go on a tear and drag that team into the postseason.

The Western Conference is bumming me out as a whole. The series leading team that I like the most is Vegas and that's really sad.
