Holy moly. Just heard that rough Los Angeles clip. That song is right up my alley. That is exactly what I wanted from these guys if they were going to push past their punk song. It's like a slightly electronic pop song (from what I could hear in that low quality clip) with a HEAVY chorus. All while being dark.

 

HISALP is quite different than any of the others. I would say it's the best, but I wouldn't say it's the worst.

 

Like every song so far. Can definitely say this album is 1000000x better than Neighborhoods or Dogs Eating Dogs.
And the diversity by now just 6-7 songs is incredible. AOTY maybe....

 

Not really. Acoustic guitar and dreamy kinda generic tinkly atmospheric sounds with strings and then drums kick in.

With all these comments I wish the band would add like 8 new songs to the tour, but we all know the likelihood of that...

 

Definitely. Barring any other surprises, this could be California's Adams Song or Stay Together for the Kids.

 

Why wouldn't they be? If they're touring on a new album, they're likely to play a good portion of them. Same with Thrice's most recent tour. They played like 5-6 songs from TBEITBN

 

Neighborhoods tour was 4 songs haha. And altogether they've only ever played 6.

 

"Cynical" is the first song I'm 100% on board with. My hopes for this album are cautiously rising again.

 

Second listen to "Home". Definitely my favorite. I think this will be my favorite in the end still. What a fucking great song.

 

I can't find "Home" anywhere now... can someone help me out haha

My second favourite album he's done after The Used's debut. Amazing album.

 

If Home Is Such A Lonely Place isn't a hit, than jeez. Beautiful. BMG please stay on top of shit so I don't hear any more! I didn't even go looking for that lol.

 

Seriously, "Home" is the perfect representation of what Mark and Matt can achieve together The contrast between Mark's verses and Matt's choruses is the most distinct example yet (as well as the most memorable). That contrast makes each transition to their respective parts even better.

He wasn't removed, he quit.


People are shitty. He posted Cynical, flat out said he had to go out for a few hours and would post the album when he got home. People quickly got entitled and flat out angry at him for not posting the whole thing. Eventually, someone posted old photos of him on a blink 182 forum, making fun of him. He found out and quit the group and isn't leaking it.


It's idiotic. He's 100% justified for quitting it and refusing to leak it.

 

When did leaking an album become the good guy thing to do lol
