I'm okay with Cynical being short. Reminds me of MCS - Attractive Today. Full of energy, great way to start, and leads right into track #2 being a huge single.

I respect Feldmann. He produced a great album called Not An Angel, by City Sleeps.

 

I thought the exact same thing - "attractive today" is one of my fav MCS songs but it basically is tied in with the big single right off the bat so I've always been cool with it being short.

 

Feldmann seems really cool and nice

 

Don't get me wrong, I definitely respect Feldman - a lot. I haven't been on the "it sounds like 5sos and Goldfinger" bandwagon by any means. The picture was more so just making fun of all of those saying that and then that short coffee convo someone drafted up inspired it haha


EDIT: If I had the money, I wouldn't even have to think twice about having him produce my shit. He knows what he's doing.

 

I haven't listened to the album, but back when I was scouring the Internet for feldy interviews, he said that was one of his favorite albums he's ever made and how that singer had serious substance abuse issues and is now homeless (allegedly)

I don't know how I'm resisting, but as of right now the only songs I've heard from the album are BTD and Rabbit Hole. I'm gonna wait it out at least until the full thing leaks.

 

Listening to the new Descendents album and cackling at the idea that a song isn't a "full song" because of some arbitrary length.

yeah I got 128/182. also got the bored to death wrist band. shirts didn't appeal to me at all. cock sauce is funny for 2 seconds, wouldn't wear it on a t shirt ever.

 

I'm trying to hold off on listening to "Cynical" because I have a thing for album openers, but man, you guys are making it tough as hell.

And of course that's a positive thing; I'm even more excited for it now.

Guy just posted Home Is Such a Lonely Place in the Alkaline Trio group, but he is saying he is no longer leaking the album because someone made fun of a picture of him wearing eyeliner from five years ago. I'm serious.
