Kimbrel wants Acuña money, but we should only give him Ozzie money.

Seriously though, the entire bullpen is a trainwreck and I’m not sure signing Kimbrel would fix it. His walk numbers have increased since the Fredi Gonzalez era and that scares me some.

Like, we need like 4 relievers who are worth a shit. Not just a dominating closer.

 

this game has like no action so it felt like time has went by super fast.

 

I see Soroka is scheduled to start Thursday against the DBacks. Wonder if the Braves plan on using Touki in the bullpen from here on out... assuming Soroka is healthy and effective in the rotation.

I really don’t want Fried to go to the pen. He’s been good as a starter. Even last night when he “didn’t have his best stuff” he pitched well enough.

Clint Frazier has been very good lately. Love to see it.

 

I'm prepared to be mad when Gardner plays more than Clint in the rotation once Hicks and Stanton are back, but at least I feel good about Clint taking Brett's place next year. The talent is there and he just looks so comfortable at the plate
