I always get super excited every time ETID releases a new song, and this one was no different. It is so fucking good, but more than that, I'm stoked to find out who their gonna bring on tour with them when they go out to support the new record. The Tour they did for From Parts Unknown was incredible.

  2. Anyone going to Warped today? Ask them why the album is coming in September and not earlier.

  5. I have no problems with either of them on that song. One of the best on GP.

If you buy something from ETID at Warped, you get a free download card for the new album. Apparently, they'll email it to you in September.

I'm going to make it a point to listen to Butter Phenomenon and The Big Dirty before this album comes out. I still haven't :xxxx

The Big Dirty is so good, and this new song definitely has elements from that record in it.

I have a really really good feeling this is going to end up being my favorite ETID record. I know its annoying when we do these things, but after hearing so many of the songs live and just the overall vibe I'm getting I cant help but feel this is going to be amazing. Plus its ETID so its bound to be amazing.

The Big Dirty is the most underrated album in their discog imo. Reviews seemed to be real lukewarm on it but I think it was a massive improvement on the more rock n roll oriented Gutter Phenomenon.

  17. Is it really underrated? I haven't searched out reviews, but I feel like everyone here likes it and those songs seem to go over really well live with fans.

it certainly feels that way. A lot of reviews, and even fans, just saw it as more of the same. I mean, I guess I kind of get that critique of ETID but at the same time I feel like they progress just enough each record to keep me interested while still retaining a familiar sound. ive listened to it like, 3 times today and i think it might have overtaken Ex Lives for my second favorite. HD! will always be number 1 for me.

It astounds me that a record as good as Gutter Phenomenon is my least favorite record of theirs. Their discography is just astronomically impressive.

Gutter is so good. I kind of like the production on it. It's why I think I prefer it to The Big Dirty because they're similar, but GP feels a little more raw.... I guess lol

yeah the production is what makes me put it last. I'd take Last Night In Town over GP (although I'm a firm believer that LNIT is a fantastic record with some great songwriting) but GP is no slouch in the great songs department. Gerards part on "Kill The Music" is one of my favorite moments in their discography.

Come to think of it this band gets some pretty great guest vocalists. Palumbo, Gerard, Brian Fallon, Pete Wentz, Dallas Green and now Brendon Urie
