Man, this song is everything I wanted out of the last album. I can already tell how much better this album is gonna be than Lift a Sail. Will be mad bummed if they call it quits after this album, I remember the day I read about the hiatus after paper walls and I was super bummed. Now if they would just release the new version of empty street..

 

The most important parts of this new song are the return of the violin AND the lyrics.
YC lyrics mean everything to me. I couldn't relate to a lot on Lift a Sail which was my main problem with that record.
But this new song has it back.

Agree. But having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

 

Like I said before, I'm okay with this and at this point after some time with the new track all I can say is I'm loving it and I'm sure this album will be an awesome way to say goodbye to Yellowcard (who knows if it's forever).

I thought I would be sadder at the prospect of this. Guess we'll see what happens in a couple of hours.

 

I remember seeing a tweet from Nate saying he was listening to the record and was very honored to have played on it.

I don't think he said that for LaS, did he? :(

 

I'd say the writing is pretty clearly on the wall for this. It's a farewell album.

 

Yellowcard has given so much incredible music since returning from hiatus. I've been fortunate enough to see each tour (multiple times) they've had. I'll be greatly depressed if this is it. Every album has come out at an almost perfect transitioning period in my life and the impact this band has had on my life, I can't thank them enough. Waiting for an announcement from them. Praying it's not what we think.

they're not bad, cool to see some smaller bands going out on this one. wish they were a little bit better but i don't really have high expectations for yellowcard openers these days

probably going to go because it's in baltimore and it'll be my last opportunity to see them

 

Where did everyone get the tour picture?! IS THIS REAL LIFE?!

 

Unfortunate about all the leaks or early postings of the events if that's the case. Need to make sure I see them during this final tour. Have yet to catch them live.

 

Damn. Sucks that they're gonna call it quits but I can understand it. Really hope the final tour comes nearish to me.

I said I won't see them again without LP but I can already tell I'm probably going to get emotional if this is the end and I'm definitely going to at least one show.

This band was my whole life from 9th grade to just a few years ago. Ugh.

 

I'm sure they won't announce the tour until after Warped Tour, right? I don't think they can announce other tours during or before Warped.

 

oh, news is definitely happening today. it's probably just 10 pacific rather than 10 eastern and it slipped everyone up

 

I assumed today would just be preorder/single debut. I don't think they can legally announce another tour that starts after Warped right before Warped starts. But maybe they're just saying they will be going on a final tour and not announcing dates? Who knows. We'll find out shortly!
