  1. Are there any proven good coaches available?

The progress the Lakers made in his first two years (especially defensively) was nothing to scoff at, 9 win improvements each season with largely the same young roster is an accomplishment. I think he had that team up to like the 10th ranked defense in the league as well. I feel like the clusterfuck of this season has made people forget how we were looking at that team after they won 35 games last year.

I also think we underrate how hard it is to start a season 24-0 regardless of how talented your team is.
There's a reason he was so coveted when he got the Lakers job.

  3. I think you’re gonna be disappointed by game 30 of next year. Just a guess.

What about when he "coached" the Warriors to that awesome streak to start the season the other year?!

  7. I just remember watching those games and not thinking I was that impressed with his in-game management. Those lineups made themselves and he still would do some weird subbing. I felt the same watching Laker games. I dunno, I'm not just not really convinced he's a NBA head coach at this point. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've never seen anything from him that makes me go "oh shit he's really got a great game plan for this team" or "what a great adjustment to set his team up better in the second half" ... maybe it's just he hasn't had enough time, but then, shouldn't he still be an assistant?

I'm also always surprised college coaches don't get more looks from teams.

Also, I'm biased ... heh, Luke Walton's only 3 years older than me.

Allen has no use against Embiid goodness

  11. His face has a good use for elbows

  12. Also Allen is a tough dude

Sixers are making me nervous. Though they played pretty well in the first half, those ten Nets' threes are looming large.

Allen’s doing a pretty good job. He still needs to bulk up a bit more because guys like Embiid can still push him around pretty easy. He’s made a lot of progress it seems like tho

Should have been a Flagrant-2 on Embiid.

Feeling a bit more comfortable now.

Sixers getting Ennis back tonight, and Nets losing Dudley is an underrated part of this game.

Ah so this is what happens when the Nets aren’t shooting 50+% from 3

51 points in the third quarter. No big deal.

Put Embiid on the bench, please.

    Edit: Thank you.

Why doesn't Hollis-Jefferson play more? He seems to be the only one on the Nets who has done anything tonight. He hurt the Sixers earlier in the regular season, too.
