The whole “we’ve taught you everything we can” like makes me feel like maybe thats
Towards the end of the movie. Someone before said that they want a whole meeting of jedi ghosts - give me a scene like in deathly hallows where harry has his parents, sirius, lupin, etc but make it rey and luke and obi and yoda and anakin and maybe even QGJ make me cry jj

 

Honestly a scene with force ghost luke and force ghost anakin together give me goosebumps thinking about it

I take that line as "we" being the Jedi through the books that she read, plus if tiem has passed they could have communed with her in that time. But even if thats what he means I could still see a Force Ghost meeting

 

Yeah I think this is definitely what is going to happen. That line of dialogue doesn't make sense otherwise. Luke is the only one who even potentially could be said to have taught Rey anything at this point. Plus the rumors that Hayden and Ewan shot something for this. Would just make sense.

Qui-Gon being in this too would be crazy though.

 

Yeah i forgot she has the ANCIENTTT JEDI TEXXTTSSSSSS

Ya know the concept of the "grey jedi" is a popular one. Its not canon but the spirit of it is still so prevalent and actually hugely focused on in new canon. The concept is all about balance and not swearing off dark or light but integrating them both as necessary aspects of the Force. Imagine a "Skywalker" being a synonym for Grey Jedi now. The "Skywalkers" in general have a history in both extremes of the Force. Powerful Dark (Anakin/Kylo/Old Luke) and Powerful light (Young Anakin/Luke), but in the end Anakin and Luke balance their powerful light and dark sides to become essentially Grey Jedi. And that quality or balance is what allows a Force User to become a Force Ghost.

If thats what a "Skywalker" ends up representing Id love it so much

 

I wouldn't say Old Luke was on dark side.

I've seen a lot of speculation that Kylo is taking out a Knight of Ren here. I kind of had the same thought, but it could also be one of these aliens behind Poe.

 

Do we have news if Maz is in this movie?

Edit: can’t find anything. If anything I suspect a brief cameo like TLJ. I was curious if JJ was going to tie the story of how she came by the lightsaber into this movie. Wouldn’t be surprised if she did.

Maybe Lando found it and gave it to her

 

I really want The Knights of Ren to be in this. I know they are basically just a cool sounding phrase at this point but I do actually love how some stuff is just evocative sounding phrases and cool costumes.

Like the 'tears in the rain' monologue from Blade Runner with "I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate" as an example of the former and pretty much the entire character of Boba Fett for the latter.

A lot of my church friends love that site. Which, their satire of church culture is often spot on & really funny from what I've seen. But, man, their attempts at political satire are BAD. Like, we get it, Babylon Bee, you hate socialism & queerness, whatever. *sigh*

 

So clearly Luke didn’t die in The Last Jedi, he was just a victim of Thanos’ snap. The two universes are now the Disney universe. So during endgame, the avengers find a way to bring people back, but some how Palpatine was one of them. How does this make sense? Well you’ll have to subscribe to Disney+ to see the crossover special next year to find out!

Just kidding, this is already looking amazing. Can’t wait.
