I would love it so much if the Disney marketing team cut these trailers to make it seem like JJ was actually retconning TLJ just to get the TLJ haters into seats and then in the actual movie it's total continuity with everything in TLJ and also they go back to Canto Bight

 

I'm excited to be here for this one because I wasn't when TFA and TLJ were coming out :)

I'm definitely pumped up with the trailer and I welcome people to explain why they don't like something in a constructive manner instead of just being super negative.

It's almost impossible to find someone who did not like TLJ to actually give good feedback on why they felt that way.

I literally have a friend that's mad about there being more women and has said "Star Wars is female now." to which I replied "Star Wars is for everyone. It's not gender specific. What wrong with giving little girls and boys a bad ass role model?"

 

Man seeing a shot of Rey, Poe, Finn, BB8, 3PO, D-O, and Chewy together is like... everything.

today is my wife's birthday and i'm a little jealous that the universe gave her the SW trailer as a birthday present

 

I waited years to see what my new favorite character Finn was up to and he did nothing in that movie. A lot of characters didn't really have an arc. Also they wasted Phasma again.

Good feedback isn't too hard to find, you gotta look past the dumb racist and sexist stuff.

Hopefully that Palpatine laugh is just a misdirection and he'll just be subtly involved in steering Kylo towards ultimate evil and domination through visions or voices in his head and not a sign that he'll literally be in the movie himself.

 

He could have been missing from the movie and nothing would have changed.

JJ was just quoted as saying that Palpatine is in the movie but did not go into how or why or in what capacity.
