It could be referencing Palptine creating Anakin in the force, hence the rise of Skywalker and how it lead to Kylo as the remaining one.

It was implied that Palpatine was the one who manipulated the Force to make Shmi pregnant with Anakin but it was never really anything other than a theory

That “we taught you everything we know” line or whatever makes me think we’re gonna get a UN summit of Jedi ghosts.

 

She grew up as a junk salvager, I'm sure she knows how to fix tech. But we don't know how much time has passed, she doesn't know where to get Kyber crystals from, etc. She doesn't necessarily have to know how to build one from scratch to know how to put one back together that was split in half.

 

I am here for that shot of BB8 and D-0 tilting their heads like dogs.
