I want the Bucks to sweep the Pistons so badly because of how much of a petty baby Casey has been since he got fired.

  8. Wow, that OG injury is a bummer. Obviously all injuries are but I feel like a non sports related one is even worse

I guess that OG news is what I get for being excited by a fully healthy Raps team.

We have some issues for sure. Fizdale was a good coach and we should have kept him and let Marc walk honestly. We had more energy and fun the second half of this season than we have in years past with a mostly new crew of people.

We are all ELATED that Chris Wallace is not GM any longer. He has been a thorn in our side since basically the beginning. He has made some of THE most boneheaded moves in regards to the team. I am sincerely looking forward to what the future holds for us.

  14. maybe this thread has warped my perception but why do so many people seem to think the raptors are better than the bucks? I don't see it

  15. Because Kawhi missed 20 games

I don’t think they are, but Kawhi and Lowry missed a combined 40 games and they Only got Gasol mid-season, so I definitely think they can be scary. I’d still pick Milwaukee in a series though

Where do you see this? I'm the resident Raps fan and I haven't noticed anyone favouring us for quite a while.

If I were to take a shot (and this isn't something I believe necessarily), it could be that Budenholzer teams have a tendency to peak in the regular season and flame out in the playoffs because they don't have that second gear as they play full force all season. The Raptors however, despite the second best record in the league, have spent a lot of time this season experimenting with lineups due to injuries and building chemistry. They were a couple Jeremy Lamb buckets away from 60 wins despite having to learn and adapt as they went. I don't know that we've seen the full potential of this Raptors team yet, and Kawhi Leonard is a different player in the playoffs. Nurse has been saving a lot of schemes that no one has seen for the playoffs as well, whereas we know what the Bucks are going to do, which is fine because they do it amazingly.

    Bucks in 6 tho.

  19. yeah but I mean Bud has never had a player better than Giannis - honestly this Bucks team has 3 maybe 4 players better than the best player on that 60 win Hawks team haha

As a Sixers fan the Raps scare me more than the Bucks

But the Bucks are the better team

  21. Giannis owns the Sixers tho and the Sixers have shot like 50% from 3 in each game against them and still went 1-2

and we have been missing Bledsoe Brogdon Mirotic etc lol

  22. I'm mostly hearing it from fans I guess as opposed to writers or pundits, but I've heard it a decent amount recently. the missed games is a decent point. Bucks were 3-1 against the raptors, how many of those games were the raptors healthy for?

  23. the only game Kawhi didn't play was the first one and Giannis didn't play either - that was in November and the Bucks won by like 20

Giannis is great but the Sixers employed a strategy against him where they allowed him to take more shots than normal and put a higher priority on guarding the shooters than other teams, which worked in the March game and worked for the first 45 minutes of the April game (which Butler didn't play). Both those games were really close, but I have no doubt the Sixers can score on the Bucks. I'm not even going to factor in the first time they played, Markelle Fultz started that game lol

Meanwhile, in the three games Kawhi played against the Sixers this year, the Sixers averaged 8 less points per game than their average, Simmons averaged 8 turnovers a game and the Raptors won by an average of 13 points. They scare me more lol

  25. RIP Rockets and Raptors
