The Titans could’ve had Fletcher Cox and Nick Foles plus two firsts and a second

Instead they chose Marcus Mariota who isn’t even as good as Foles alone hahah

 

Chip Kelly is an asshole for even offering that to the Titans.

 

Every time I think about the "what if" with that trade... Ugh, that would have set the Eagles back 5+ years.

At the very least he knew how to coach Mariota though. I’m sure Kelly would have inflated Mariota’s strengths while hiding his flaws.

Titans are even dumber to reject that trade for a player they clearly had no idea how to utilize

 

At the same time though, you just don’t offer “any defensive player” lol. Fletcher Cox was and is a top 10 defender in the league. Letting go of him PLUS several high picks would’ve been bonkers

Kinda like when people hinted the Jags might trade Jalen Ramsey for one of the QBs in this draft. I would explode with anger if that happened lol

I do not think if you did a redraft of 2017, Fournette would not make the top 20. He'd be a late first rounder.

 

Ugh can’t wait to draft Jawaan and get Fournette 1400 yards this year so everyone shuts up about him lol

1,400 yards would be only 79 yards away from his career regular season total.

 

Our QB has as many super bowl wins as Aaron Rodgers though

 

? He’s only been in the league two years, and spent part of both seasons hurt? This doesn’t make the point you seem to wanna make haha.

A full season of healthy games from Fournette would at least get him close to 1400, he doesn’t have a problem approaching 80-100 yards in games he gets a lot of carries

If he wasn't drafted at #4 overall, nobody would be talking about him. He's not garbage shit or anything, but due to injuries and skill, it seems that he's just not that big of a deal. Average running back and nothing more.

 

Just looking at that draft is tough.

You could have had Mahomes or Watson as your QB ... and still could have ended up with Dalvin Cook or Mixon in the 2nd, but also the Jags were the pick after Kamara was taken in the third (and Hunt still there too).

Hindsight is very, very frustrating when looking at NFL drafts.

 

I disagree that “skill” is a problem for Fournette at ALL

It’s obviously his immaturity and injury problems that hold him back. He needs to grow up and learn how pros take care of their bodies and stay out of trouble.
