Living on LI:

If I leave 30 minutes before work I arrive 10 minutes late

If I leave 45 minutes before work, I arrive at work 15 minutes early

 

I bought an iced coffee the other day for the first time in a while and like always it's great for the two minutes before it disappears

 

i get up at 5 am and my shift starts an hour before the rest of the office. i cherish starting my day with three hours of alone time

then fuckin Peter comes in at 8 am talking about a bunch of shit and ruins everything

 

@Colby Searcy can you help with some suggestions

you don’t need to bring anything. i can make us burgers or something. if you want to bring Laura y’all can use my bed and I’ll crash on the couch

I think I prefer a strong iced latte to an iced coffee, but both are so good.

Peter is actually a very sitcom eque creation of a man. he is basically Jerry from Parks and Rec. everyone hates him and he embarrasses himself like it’s his purpose in life but he has a beautiful wife and a lovely family

 

Laura's gonna stay home with Ana tonight, last time there was a hailstorm we were out and about and had Ana left at home and she doesn't wanna do it again haha

 

I used to work 5:00-1 at Starbucks and I honestly kind of miss it. Getting out and having a lot of my day left was cool. Downside was I was always tired and had to sacrifice my evenings.
