  1. Bingo. Confirmation bias at its core. Listen again and think they're autobiographical and you can find that as well.

  2. Just listened to the new song what the fuck that was awful

Now you're being ridiculous. Heard the first two songs and didn't think a thing of it until I heard No Future.

Sure, don't take Travis' word in multiple interviews though...

I'm a bit confused as to how blink wants to be on the radio again but isn't writing songs that are thaaaat radio friendly. Alternative hits, sure. For as many people trash these songs for being "radio friendly" they really sound like nothing on the radio.

If people want to think it's about Tom, let them. Whatever, amirite??? Lyrics are usually left up to interpretation by the artist anyways. It's fun to think it's about Tom.

The real question is who is Holly from Untitled?!?!?

i went from being skeptical of a new member changing a band ive loved my whole life...to being mildly excited by their choice of someone who can perform consistently on vocals and guitar...to currently being bummed by the five new songs weve heard so far. ugh.

  7. Wait for the cross over single.

If I remember correctly, I think Holly is a name (codename?) for a girl Jerry Finn (?) had trouble with in his teen years.

  12. It's catchy as balls. It'll make a play for top 40. No idea what'll happen. But they're gonna push it.

These songs don't remind me of enema of the state. The only track so far that reminds me of TOYPAJ is rabbit hole.

Instead of "hours lost" I am hearing "applesauce". I hope I have now made you hear this as well.

I think if you want to see them talk about Tom, then that's what you'll see. I however, don't see that here.

Just curious, what were people looking for in this album that makes them disappointed? For me, I really didn't expect some crazy amazing reinvention of pop-punk or anything, I was just looking for some catchy songs that are gonna be fun to sing along to and put me in a good mood, which is exactly what they've done for me so far.

On a side note, I leave for North Carolina to go to the Outer Banks next Friday, so I'm gonna be blasting this album all weekend on the beach B-)

  20. Blink could have released Enema and people would have been disappointed.

I really just want this album to be fun. I'm not looking for political insight or themes on love and loss, it's 2016 and I want a blink album that makes me happy drinking a beer outside forgetting how I have to work 5 days a week 49 weeks a year til I'm dead. (Hyperventilates)

People are more upset about this happening, than everyone was back in the 90's about blink "selling out"...it's like...come on people...they already "sold out", having co-writers is just part of that territory...and there isn't anything wrong with that.

Yeah that's the disappointing part for me. Blink is capable of more than just incredibly standard, generic pop-punk. I'd never expect a massive deviation from the genre, but I was hoping for something at least slightly experimental.
