I will say it has never seemed like the players loved Joerger, kind of telling we haven't seen any "smh" tweets from the guys today

The Grizzlies have to be among the least desirable places in the league to work for

Ownership and the front office booted Lionel Hollins after a 56 win season and a conference finals appearance in favor of Dave Joerger. Pera then threated to fire Joerger a few games into his tenure and then got rid of the front office guys who supported Joerger. Joerger left to get paid twice as much and they hired David Fizdale, who lasted less than two years before getting let go because he feuded with Marc Gasol, who got traded a year later anyway. And now Bickerstaff is gone after less than two years when he didn't have much to work with.

 

All the Grizz fans I see on Reddit hated Bickerstaff and Chris Wallace even more.

 

How many times did these two win this?

 

Giannis won every single month aside from January (Embiid took that month)

Harden won every month aside from November and February (Tobias Harris and Paul George)

 

Also never forget January 2015 when the league gave ALL of the Hawks starters player of the month (Carroll, Korver, Teague, Horford, Millsap)
