Where in that statement though does it say he supports eliminating the legislative filibuster ? Lol

But returning to the talking filibuster is a great idea, and I also like in the rest of his statement he points out he could use the budget reconciliation process, and the vice president decides what is and is not permissible under that process (I didn't even know that was the rule but hey if it works let's do it)

  2. isn't threadless sort of the same though? like before you did it, what was preventing me from putting your logo on a bunch of stuff and selling it on that site too?

  3. Beside not having the high resolution files to do it well? Not much. But if you look through Redbubble you can see it’s just full of full on copyright infringement for all sorts of stuff. They seem to remove just the item you request, not the full store, if someone made a fake AP Threadless I could have the whole store removed pretty easily.

  4. It getting through reconciliation is a massive long shot, and most of what I’ve read says impossible.

The Senate’s rules will make it really hard to pass Medicare-for-all

  5. That makes sense. Although clearly the lack of high res doesn't stop everyone lmao. Redbubble is definitely pretty scummy from what I've heard

Does the modern filibuster work simply by one senator announcing it and then nobody can do anything about it unless a cloture vote wins? What an absolutely insane system lol. We really just need to burn the Constitution and start over

As far as I can tell, pretty much. Someone says they intend to filibuster and that's that, now we need a cloture vote.

Jay Inslee isn't a bad candidate but he's just so boring. There's no enthusiasm or passion in his answers.

Put him as Secretary of Energy or something and he'd be fine

Polling at 11% when he only had 37% name recognition is insane. Just wow
