They have a whole panel dedicated to this. I think we're getting at least title/poster/teaser trailer. Probably some light plot and/or character details as well.

 

I think a guarantee and probably what is going to the biggest shot in the trailer (short of a lightsaber reveal) that’s going to be the main talking point is a shot of Rey, Poe, and Finn together for the first time on an adventure.

Edit: and that will also be a big talking point of the panel. Don’t have to give away much. But they’ll just give vague comments on how great it is to be together as a group for the first time

 

I'd guess that we get a teaser poster, teaser trailer, and reveal of the new characters.

 

That JJ quote can be interpreted in a million different ways. Every side of the TLJ debate could use it to defend their position. When he's talking about finding answers to things he hadn't thought of answering it could be talking about things he set up in VII, things Rian set up in VIII or even just things from the entire saga.

As far as what we'll get in the trailer, I remember some of the details that leaked from that Disney shareholder call (Don't worry, I won't spoiler any of that). My pure speculation bet is the final shot being Rey and Kylo clashing blades.

 

I hope Kylo comes out on top at the end of this.

 

That would be absolutely wild. The First Order actually wins in the end.

 

First Order wins, the B&W movies are a prequel to episode 7. Then Rian's is 10 years from now with episodes 10-12.

I’d be cool with that being the end shot of the trailer.

 

I want them to announce Star Wars 1-7 being released in 4K.

 

My dream ending for IX was always for Kylo to be defeated by Leia in some way. Sadly, it's probably not possible for it to end in that way. That's why I'm glad Rian gave her a force moment in the TLJ. I'm so happy we get to see Carrie at least once more on film, even if it'll probably be a really small role.

Yeah I thought that too but at the same time Fox still had the rights at that time and the whole acquisition thing wasn’t even close to happening yet so he may not have. Also Disney would have been very dumb to agree to that if they did.

 

That pic I think is from the last Celebration/Orlando? Could be wrong. He had a rough time at the last Celebration, it was really poorly run so I think he’s taking a break.

 

I'm so excited for Celebration. I'm only going on Sunday and I fully expect it to be kind of a madhouse, but I did win the lottery for priority entry to the Mandalorian panel, so that should be pretty cool.

 

No way they use a cartoon only character in this movie in anything other than a cameo role. More than half the viewers would be so confused.
