V hard to understand why she doesn’t wanna drop capitalism

 

Politicians are required to release detailed financial disclosure forms.

So we have a rough idea of their net worth.

Nancy is worth anywhere from $100-120 million.

Edit: Her wealth comes predominantly from her husband, a venture capitalist.

Edit 2: Interestingly, it appears that her net worth has gone down. It was estimated at $100 million in 2015 by open secrets. In 2016, that estimate dropped to $58. Roll call has her now at between $16 to 30 million.

My guess is there is a lot of guess work happening to estimate her husband’s various holdings.

I was surprised to see Ro Khana so high. Apparently his father-in-law is loaded.

 

Pelosi is known to be one of the richest members of Congress (how I have no idea lol).

In terms of Bernie, yeah if you didn’t think that by now he had over a million dollars you don’t understand how society works. Of course Fox News and all conservatives will just be like “yeah well why doesn’t he donate all of it or his give it away”

Nobody is actually surprised about Bernie being a millionaire, correct? I would absolutely assume that every single (serious) candidate has to at least be a millionaire. You have to be at a certain level of financial stability to just campaign full-time for 2+ years, nevermind anything else.

I'm not saying judicial system and prison reform shouldn't happen, but it happening because of white rich ass Aunt Becky and not SO MANY OTHER THINGS would be a pretty huge slap in the face to so,so,so many people.
