WHAT!? lol. Yea, if you wanna call unnecessary, boring 3 minute synth intros "unique" then sure.

 

It was in a private facebook group that I saw it. Someone said we'd probably get this song but they said it would be the next morning or afternoon after they posted. Obviously they were very wrong with the timing. It's not even some ~exclusive, elite, insider~ place. It's just some people who have a little group to talk without the crazies, so I assumed that if that person knew something then everyone would know, so I blabbed and was wrong. Lesson permed.

 

Matt's bridge is fucking fantastic, his voice on it reminds me of the old Matt from the earlier Trio days. This is such a great song to sing along too as well.

 

It sucks that for as much as Tom liked 3 minute intros and that Mark loves The Cure they could never make a long intro work. The Cure are fantastic with those.

 

I still don't like it more than BTD, but have already listened to it more times than Rabbit Hole, haha.

 

I think that's because Tom's intros haven't segued well into the body of the song since WDNTW. Intros for the Adventure and Valkyrie Missile give me chills

I've noticed that there's a lot more vowel sounds in place of what would normally be a well thought out line. This kind of bums me out. I look at the lyrical content of WYHSB and the S/T record and I realize how much of a masterpiece these are.

Maybe Feldy as a co-writer was a bad choice.

Charging them for it is one thing, but highly over-pricing is totally different.

 

These are as bad / better than / the same as the Untitled record. Hahaha. Those lyrics are atrocious.
