Ronda looked like she struggled throughout that entire match. That rough landing on the drop kick between Charlotte’s legs where she landed hard on the ring apron and welted her leg up. Multiple spots where Becky and Charlotte were clearly walking her through things. The wonky ending. This has been a theme in Ronda’s matches as of late, but she’s just going too fast and rushing instead of easing into things. Those step up strikes are a great example: they look super cool when she paces them right, but when she’s working 100 mph they just look super sloppy and like she is flailing around. She’s not smooth enough like a Ricochet or Asuka to pull it off at that speed. A broken hand couldn’t have helped her headspace.

 

I feel like Ronda will still get a good pop when she returns at a royal rumble in 2-3yrs, I only hope she's gotten better by then

 

I think for how long she’s been in the business, she’s very far along. Not quite Kurt Angle level of picking up the business, but it’s been impressive. But she was thrust into the spotlight and never had a chance to smooth out the kinks, in ring and on the mic, and she’s not confident or seasoned enough to go out there and give us a match like Charlotte and Becky did at Evolution, which would have been a much more satisfying main event for Mania. That’s the biggest reason why I think this needed to be a singles match: either Becky vs Ronda or Becky vs Charlotte. One on one, Ronda doesn’t have to worry about keeping up with Becky and Charlotte. They can book the match around Ronda’s strengths and weaknesses much more effectively.

 

Definitely one of the better Mania’s, that. Seth, Kofi, Becky and Finn winning and Joe retaining is all I needed. Properly sports entertained.

Must suck for the miserable fucks desperately looking for holes. You could hear a collective pant splitting when their rage boners popped through.

 

Meltz said Ronda is leaving so that isn't happening any time soon(if he's even right), especially if her hand is that damaged.

 

I think Ronda got very turned off from the biz the past few months so, job well done marks. Fuckin geeks.
