Someone in the other thread said meltz claims that was the planned ending and Ronda is done, I hope it's true just for rondas last moment to have been a complete botch

 

If they're gonna have this event with 10 matches again make the friggin event start an hour or two earlier so it ends at a regular time because people you know, actually need to get up early the next day plus the big matches will likely get more time from it.

 

it was a good mania and certainly the best of the past few years. nothing else to say that hasn't been said - mostly that the event has gotten FAR too bloated and the main event finish looked terrible, made no sense from a storyline perspective and really took away from becky's moment.

the most important part coming out of this, though, is that they generally made the right calls. raw can have a top title again, we got our perfect kofi moment, the iiconics have some time to shine (and maybe we'll get the elusive sasha/bayley feud), finn has a belt and hopefully never has to wrestle bobby lashley ever again. i'm expecting the raw tag titles to change hands tonight, whether to blackochet, revival or someone else and the usos always kill it of course. and of course, spoiled moment or no, most importantly becky is at the top of the division with two goddamn belts. i'm excited to see what they do these next two nights, wonder how this goes with an impending shakeup and probably no call-ups since they're still sorting through the past few month's groups.

 

I think someone debuts tonight for sure

 

Undisputed Era showing up and beating Hawkins/Ryder would make sense to me

 

but would TUE with Bray as their leader also make sense?

I think most logically it's Cole just randomly interfering in someone's match and then bolting it. Being announced next week during the shake up.

Kind of funny story: I decided to leave after the SmackDown tag match so I could meet up with my brother and Cristen back in Manhattan to watch the main event with them. Knew that it was going to be a mess leaving MetLife after the show and didn’t feel like getting back to my hotel at 3 am. So around 8:15 I head to the Uber pickup lot where I am promptly joined by Dean Ambrose, Gallows and Anderson, the Ascension, and one of the NXT ring announcers. A little kid recognized Ambrose and Dean just walked right past him without even acknowledging him Poor kid

 

Yeah, everyone is at the arena by 1-2 pm already, why not just start the event around that time with the preshow. It’s a Sunday! Would much rather the show start at 2 and finish up by 10 (since the preferred 6-10 is clearly off the table)

 

I feel like fucking death today. It was almost 4 AM by the time I got home and I live 30 minutes from the arena.

In continuing the tradition, Takeover will have more 4+* matches (honestly, all 5 probably will be) than the entirety of the WM card (which has 2, maybe 3?)

 

I think just the Kofi match gets 4+ honestly. Smackdown tag was great, but short. What else??

 

That and AJ/Randy were the only ones I thought had a chance. Think this WM is gonna be the king of 3* and 3.5* matches
