The Hart family news is so awful. Confirmed what was already known but idk. A lot can be said about the system and how white savior's who "save" children of color are viewed by society. I know so many white people who say they want to adopt a kid from Africa and literally none of them give a legit reason why or appear to understand how to raise a child who will encounter racism all their life and what those dynamics look like. The parents homeschooling the children was such an intentional isolation move. I wish there was more oversight with homeschooling. It's absolutely devastating that DHS was investigating them and these children may have been so close to being saved. It's all so upsetting

 

The fact she is being pinned as “racist” is fucking putrid. The dumbest people now have a vindicated voice to say and believe shit like this, and it’s not even trolls on social media anymore.
