I noticed a couple of weeks ago that Gnaw Thier Tongues had a new album out that I knew nothing about. Then last week, they release another one. Lovely stuff... not the music, obviously. Just that we’re getting two albums within a couple of months. Yes.

 

They totally messed up the label on this video but this record is GO! from the second you hit play.

Decibel is streaming the new Suffering Hour EP, which is really just one 18 minute long song. Soooo many weird riffs. Good shit.

listened to that earlier today and was quite impressed. i'm probably making the hour+ trek to see them on a tuesday next week with sinmara. it should be a grand time.

 

I enjoyed this but it was very on-the-nose Converge worship. gonna check out the rest.

Seems like Thursday is slanted more towards black metal and Friday towards death metal (from the bands that I recognize). I'm a death metal guy, and Hyperdontia, Mortuous, Superstition, and Torture Rack alone are good enough reasons to go that day. I guess it's genre preference?

 

I think I'm torn because the bands I like the most play Thursday, but more bands I like play Friday.
