That's not a bad order to play them in. Another good order would be to play Dark Souls 3 next and then Bloodborne. Two reasons for this: DS3 references DS1 a lot so it'll be fresh in your mind, and also they made the combat a lot faster and more active in DS3 so it's a good transition into the speed of Bloodborne's combat.

The thrill of taking down even the mini-bosses in Sekiro, let alone the actual bosses, was so satisfying. Made all the struggles worth it.

 

I kind of equate it to hollow knight, because in a way it's similar in that you need to just repeatedly lose before you figure out how to win. Beating the watcher knights is probably the most excited i've ever gotten in beating something in a game hahaha.

Yeah, Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation refers to it as beating your head against a brick wall until you finally break through and that is 100% accurate. I always say all those games take to beat is patience and perseverance, the initial shock of the difficulty really melts away once you learn how to play them on their terms and understand the systems at work. This was especially true of Sekiro, which felt so intimidating at first but after about seven nights of playing I was confident that I could get through the game no matter how hard things seemed at first.

It AMAZES me how from is able to hit that line of difficult but not impossible so perfectly. I have no idea how that's done.
