Glad I woke up just before 5am to get tix. Sounds like it's been a shit show for everyone. My showtime sold out by the time I checked again around 8:30am.

 

Finally got them lol 6pm Thursday!

 

Got Thursday 12:05am tickets.

No sleep. No liquids after 6pm.

Whatever it takes.

Yeah, I'm a way bigger Star Wars guy than Marvel, but EpIX won't open larger than this.

I thought the 3 hour runtime would put a dent in its numbers (longer runtime = fewer showtimes) but that seems like it won't matter, haha.

Only thing about the 3 hr runtime is it makes me doing my normal double showing Thursday night less likely

Regal Cinemas stated that Endgame sold more in its first 8 hours than Infinity War did in its first week.

 

Saturday morning at 10am. Even that showing was almost full.

 

this thing has an outside shot at cracking 280-300M even with the extended running times.

 

A lot of schools around the country are on Spring Break that weekend, so lots of kids/families available

 

What's the over/under on $640m worldwide box office opening weekend? That's about what Infinity War made (including China's opening weekend, which was a couple weeks later).

Including China's opening weekend Infinity War would have made over $800 million opening weekend. Endgame might be able to reach $1 billion opening weekend.

 

Ah ok, I was looking at Box Office Mojo and thought they included China for some reason. So ya, I guess the better question might be over/under $1 billion.

 

For people that saw the trailer, when Tony is looking at the photo of him and Peter, the walls and lighting are the same as Aunt May's apartment, so he might be telling Aunt May what happened and he finds that photo in Peter's room

I wouldn't be surprised at all if this broke a billion opening weekend

 

managed to get tix for Thursday night earliest showing in a non-terrible seat (shit ton of 'em were taken) early this morning! surprised i got one seeing as i went on just as i was leaving for work, hahah

 

I still cant believe as I was refreshing the page as the clock turned 8 and the page showed basically the whole theater was taken. How is that possible?!
