Also watchign the Clone Wars during the first Satine arc. Love this quote by Satine: "Senators, I presume you are acquainted with the collection of half-truths and hyperbole known as Obi-Wan Kenobi?" lol also Kenobi tells Anakin about his history with Satine on a year-long mission with Qui-Gonn to protect the Duchess from insurgents. Would be cool if that will be a part of Grey's book coming up or even briefly mentioned.

In less than 2 weeks we'll have the following: Trailer and title for IX, Trailer for Mandalorian, Trailer for Clone Wars (hopefully), Trailer for Resistance Season 2 (hopefully). Hold on, Star Wars fans, we're about to feast.

I believe that was an old live action concept Lucasfilm was writing far before they sold to Disney. It was supposed to be set around the criminal world of Coruscant and I think also around a young Palpatine.

Yeah I think Kennedy saying they would consider making the show and using scripts that were written (apparently there were a ton of scripts if I remember correctly) but I'm not counting on it ever happening

Man Lanter's performance as Anakin when he meets Shmi on Mortis is so good. There were certain words where he sounded like Hayden.

  10. There are so many good arcs in the Clone Wars.

    Geonosis
    Mandalore
    Nighsisters / Savage
    Mortis
    Citadel
    General Krell
    Maul
    Younglings and the crystals

Onderon is my favorite. One of Ahsoka's biggest growth moments.

Yeah I realized I wouldn’t be able to rewatch the entire series within 3 weeks without fucking up my already bad anxiety so I’m just hitting all of the big arcs. I found a list of the top 20 arcs or something. Already got through a lot.

I will say that I watched exactly half of the first two seasons and I can’t say the episodes individually are spectacular. I’ve been rating them with Trakt and most of them are 7/10s with a lot of 8s and a couple 6s. The Nightsisters arc was a step above. Loved seeing Dooku train Savage (which I think is the only official Sith training we've seen?) but after just finishing the Mortis arc its far and away my favorite so far. It just feels like a whole different level. Its pure fantasy, mythology and its oozing Star Wars philosophy and I LOVE it. I would love to go back toMortis in the future like passed Episode 9. Live action or not. Like somebody finds the ruins of it.

Aynways, despite the fact that a lot of the early seasons aren't consistently great, I dont think any of it is bad or as weak as I always hear it is. Id say the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. There’s so many characters that it always feel fresh. Mace, Plo Koon, Ki Adi Mundi, Yoda, Bariss, Luminara, Kit Fisto, Grievous, Dooku, Cad Bane, Ventress, Padme, a slew of Clone Troopers, etc... all have been main characters at this point. In the Ryloth arc, Ashoka and Anakin had their own episode, Obi-Wan and two clones had the second and Windu and Syndulla had the third. Thats just awesome and they still all felt connected. The stories are all interesting both episode to epsiode and arc by arc all with great themes. Some are straight out war episodes like on Geonosis. You have sci-fi horror with the Brain Invaders episode. Theres thrillers. Fantasy. Crime and gangster stories. Theres such a great variety.

Also Ashoka is the best. I think she may be my favorite Star Wars character and I havent even gotten to a lot of her best arcs or finish her book.

lol sorry I went into ranting nerd mode. Ill probably do it again when I finish as well. I cant help it though. I love this show.

Yea, Ahsoka is absolutely one of my favorite Star Wars characters. Loved her book and I'm so excited to see her close out part of her arc in the next season of Clone Wars.

Like what @Dodger was saying, I love all the different styles and genres we get in The Clone Wars. I think it's why I like it more than Rebels, even if Rebels is a little more consistent early on. It shows me all the possibilities that we can have in the Star Wars universe. It can be war, horror, monster, ganster, heist/crime, political, straight up adventure and more.

Exactly. And they all felt Star Wars-y to me. Imagine a Jordan Peele Star Wars horror movie. Or an Alex Garland sci-fi movie. So many possibilities.

Also Im hoping at the celebration panel we hear that 6 of the last 12 episodes arent just the finished story reels for The Bad Batch and Crystal Crisis of Utapau. Id be bummed if they were.

Wow I totally forgot Ashoka had an adventure with Chewbacca lol

While the Mortis trilogy is still my favorite arc, The Carnage of Krell is easily my favorite episode so far. I’ve seen it three times and it’s blown me away each time. It’s perfect. Can’t believe an animated kids show got that heavy. So powerful. Such a great villain. Rex and Fives get their own arc and cement themselves as some of the best Star Wars characters and two of my favorites.

Also I wish Kiner would be given a bigger budget with a bigger franchise. Dude is incredible in this whole series consistently. I really hope as Filoni rises and gets to do live action he’ll bring Kiner with him. He deserves it

Damnit. The Wrong Jedi. That ending. One of three moments in Star Wars thats ever made me legit cry and not just tear up, and it did it again lol
    [IMG]
The other two being Kanan’s Death (which is easily the most I cried of the three) and Luke saying “No ones ever really gone” to Leia and Carrie.

Anybody else want to join and say what Star Wars moments made them cry so I don’t feel so alone in my sadness.

Luke’s death really gets me solely based on the look he has when he sees the Twin Suns again. There’s so much sadness, but still so much hope and peace in Mark’s eyes. Also building off your #2, the reactions in the following episodes from the crew is what gets me. I also distinctly remember Qui-Gon’s death being really upsetting to me as a kid watching Phantom Menace for the first time.

Wildcard entry: the end of the Battlefront 2: Resurrection DLC. I was really shocked and having also read the book, was even more connected to those characters than I’d thought.

I don’t really cry at things but Luke’s death and seeing how the world between worlds connected back to the end of Rebels season 2 made me want to
