life got hectic so I took a break from queer eye but episode 4(AJ) of season 1 is making me cry like I can't handle this

Already finished S3 of Santa Clarita Diet and I'm sad it's over already :( suuuch a good season.

Onto the Russian Doll next.

 

We are on to S5 of Great British Baking Show or whatever it's called and I already miss Mel & Sue and Mary Berry

 

I read The Book of Strange New Things by Michel Faber right before our first child was born. The book kinda fucked me up. It is a strange read, and ultimately I am not sure if it is a satisfying one, but it is fascinating nonetheless.

I recently found out that Amazon did a pilot episode based on the book in 2017 entitled Oasis, but never ordered anything more than that. I wish I had not watched it because it was fantastic. I usually do not like when a lot of seemingly arbitrary changes are made to a book when adapting it to the screen, and this pilot was actually pretty different than the book, but I was fully on board with every single thing they did. The cast was killer. Very bummed this show is no more than one episode.

 

I finished watching season 1 of Queer Eye and it was good. Some episodes were kind of eh but I still enjoyed using it as background television.

AJ, Jeremy and Tom were probably the best of the 8 in that season.

 

Why isn't there a Queer Eye thread? Season 3 is non-stop great. Episode 5, top tier television episode.

 

Are we talking about The Act in here?? Is there a thread? Anyway I’m all caught up and I’m very salty this comes out weekly.

 

Been slowly going through I guess the first half of Into the Badlands S3. Not really in a binge-ing mood lately. But yeah, I still really love this series.

 

I've seen alot about the actual case so not sure how interested I am in the adaptation. Seems like it's getting great reviews though

I’ve been keeping up with the case since it happened, since it’s such a unique story. I 100% think it’s worth watching.

The Trailer Park Boys cartoon is awful, oh my god

 

I’m mad I saw the lifetime movie, when I had no idea this was even gonna be a thing.

 

I feared this would be the case. Bummer. They should have hung it up after Dunworth died.

 

Finally have time for Queer Eye and oof the NRA and blue lives matter stuff makes this one really hard. I get that they always want to come from a nonjudgmental place but it’s very hard for me to do the same from my couch.

 

Russian Doll was SO good

 

Ok now this episode being about a summer camp is ENTIRELY for me. Going to and working at one was such a huge part of my life from age like 8-21.

 

started season 2 of Queer Eye and Tammye is a treasure and this is the best way to start the season.

 

Im still sad the Joel McHale show got cancelled. My wife watches so many shows that they would rip apart

 

Yeah.. I loved The Soup and all, but his Netflix show just didn't feel as funny to me. Also, I feel like Netflix cheaped out on it from the very beginning, looked like it was shot in someone's basement or a parking garage haha.

 

started watching Love last week and it's great, Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs are great together.
