Dude that was like someone flicked a light switch. He barely clipped him with a power shot and Johnson was out cold within a millisecond.

 

Wow! As much as I wanted to see that fight go multiple rounds, I love seeing Gaethje get a win. What a fight!

UFC March 19’:

 

Gaethje is insane. He doesn’t even appear to be a great striker at first glance (and he’s actually a state champion wrestler lol) but he gets in peoples faces and makes the fight uncomfortable for technical fighters.

You kind of have to have a lot of experience but with that brawling edge to your style like Dustin and Eddie to really outdo him.

 

He's gotta fight the winner of Cowboy Iaquinta

 

Some awesome finishes tonight. Really love the dude continuously pulling triangles.

 

My first live UFC event was everything I could have hoped for and more. After watching MMA for many years it was long overdue. The energy was insane. Great night of fights. Really hope the UFC come around more often to my city.

That was so weird. I've never seen Eddie look worse. He just gave up? Seems strange.

 

DJ looked great despite facing some adversity. A good way to wipe the weird taste I got from Eddie out of my mouth. Also seeing DJ throw knees to a grounded opponent had me so shaken for a second haha

 

Alvarez got TKOed in his one debut damn

 

Yeah 1st round too. Out of his last 5 fights, he’s only beaten Justin. Do wonder what’s going on there in his camp.

 

I hope we see more stars jumping back and forth between ONE and UFC. UFC is lacking in Asian fighters, so giving these guys a chance to beat big name fighters like Alvarez can really boost interest.

 

I always figured Eddie would have a rough go, he's closer to the end. If you've watched One before this you know they have some tough dudes. Where DJ can out skill someone, Eddie has to out tough them and it cost him.
