Were you not around when they played the Metro at the end of November? They came pretty close to selling it out. I was pretty impressed. The other times I saw them they played like 300 and 400 cap rooms. Not to rub it in, but that Metro show was really good. Whatever they did at Lolla must have worked.

 

I was around but concluded it was too much of a pain to commute an hour and a half into the city after work for a show that late with work the next day lol

 

I feel it. Commute aside, this is how I feel about most shows at Quenchers on a week day. Kind of like when I dipped from the Captain show haha. We'll see how this Pkew show goes, but it's definitely not ideal.

 

I got my dates confused and now that I see that Pkew is on a Thursday and not Friday I’ll probably pass. Especially with the Flats the next Friday

 

Doors at 9:00 on a weekday with a four band bill is a death sentence haha. I don't see why they can't move it up a few hours.

 

Apparently finishing up the new record within the next couple of months as well

 

I was really crossing fingers on a Summer release for the new record but oh well.

 

No Chi makes me think Riot Fest is a possibility

 

Either that or Wicker Park Fest. I’d be excited either way.

Yeah, this is rad. It's a little too glossy in production in my opinion but it's catchy as hell.

 

Also good luck on Elektra boys! Hopefully, they can overcome the major label curse.

I assume this means Wednesday we get another single and an album announcement

 

Saw them at Mahalls (Lakewood, Oh) in June then a few weeks later opening for The Killers. They're real good live. They're so in sync with each other. Very stoked for the new album.
