That's just remarkably dumb imo. Aaron Donald was 285 at the Combine and pick 13 was a steal for him. Ed Oliver showed up 294 when people thought he was 271. I really don't get the doubt that he can play defensive tackle. Dude has Geno Atkins feet and the strength to stand up double teams.

 

You can play linebacker in a front 7 and still play defensive tackle too

49ers are better off with Bosa edge rushing. Buckner and Thomas need to be interior rushers much more. Williams is great, but it really just clogs their inner D-line more.

 

Yeah if they move Thomas to the interior then Bosa all the way.
