Was honestly waiting for @Jason Tate ’s wrath lol

 

Honestly I can’t wait for the Bortles leaving jokes, but maybe we get lucky and get some Nick Foles material too

 

I almost expect the show to be in an alternate timeline where Bortles remains the Jags QB forever. That, or they’ll make a big deal about Jason finding out and being crushed but then getting over it and jumping on the Foles train. Although yelling “Foles!!!!” doesn’t have the same ring to it haha

 

A Good Place nickname for Foles’s real one would be amusing.

I think they definitely overused the Blake Bortles jokes

 

Could see them working in a joke where we find out Jason had a friend on Earth who also went by Big Dick Nick (it's right in line with Pillboi and Donkey Doug, really) so it endears him to Foles even more.

 

Bortles signed with the LA Rams so now he has to cameo on the show right? Like, it needs to happen lol.

It was a cool ep and all but I really think that Janet ep was done purely to try and get some sort of award/make the crew laugh with Janet doing impersonations more than it was done for the story or for the audience. (You can hurl abuse at me now before I hurl out more terrible opinions later!)

 

That take belongs in the bad place

 

That might be the worst Good Place take I’ve ever heard. That episode was genius and worked impossibly well from every angle. Janet kissing herself should not have been doable as a major character development moment, but it absolutely worked. Also D’Arcy was just incredible all the way through.

 

Can you expound on how you got to this conclusion?

I can get not liking the episode because I thought the season slowly declined in quality and ended on a sour note, but saying that specifically feels odd to me.
