I always jam the band in going to see the week leading up to the show and on the way to the show. And after.

I always listen to the bands on the lineup I know the least before the show, so I can have the words memorized (and in hopes the openers will see me singing along & give me the mic)

 

I have like 8 blink shirts collected from when I first started listening to them through now. But their post-2009 reunion merch got really ugly. A Neighborhoods hoodie I got with that preorder is the most respectable looking top of theirs I have that still fits and I never really wear it.

I have two early 00s Abercrombie spoof shirts of theirs that I always liked, where it’s like “blink-182 est. 1992 Crappy Punk Rock” or something. But they’re so old I don’t wear them anymore, they’re packed with other junk I kept for sentimental reasons.

 

The only blink shirt I ever bought was in like 2001 when i got a navy blue one that says blink on the front on different coloured letters and 182 on the sleeve. I'm not even sure it was "official". It's too small and battered now but I still have it. I can't find a pic of it but i found this while googling and it's rad as hell!

 

I made a conscious effort to change my wardrobe up a few years ago since all I owned were band t-shirts haha.

Currently have - couple of The Wonder Years, a couple of Pale Waves, couple of Courtney Barnett, Frank Turner, Brand New (doesn't get much wear these days...), alt-j.

Got a few Blink ones that I never wear. I do remember rocking the chrome smiley reunion shirt for a solid 3 years solid haha.

 

oh yeah?! Well I just wear airpods at the show and listen to the band play the setlist I WANT them to play while they play whatever!

 

I do the same thing, but I go to the venue and just sit out in my car while I listen to the band’s album. My car stereo sounds pretty good, and I’m broke.

 

Does this mean I was one of the first 100 orders??

I actually may have. I just happened to have the SC site up and refreshed. Saw preorders for the EP and preordered. Their socials announced the ep/preorders 10 minutes later

 

I’m jealous of the people going to the Simple Creatures show tonight. I just blasted the 3 singles in my car and they’re just funnnn! I don’t love “Drug” or “Strange Love” but they’re undoubtedly fun, and I bet in a live setting they’ll be even more so.

I’m insanely jealous of everyone that will be seeing “Adrenaline” live! That song is faf*!!!!
