Anyone who signs Kimbrel to a big contract is begging for trouble.

 

Yeah I'm more surprised Keuchel hasn't signed anywhere. Kimbrel seems adamant on wanting 6 years and that's absolutely ludicrous.

 

I'd only want keuchel on a 2 year deal.

 

From what I remember the Phillies did offer Keuchel a 2 year deal.

 

So did the Astros

 

I would 100% take Kimbrel back on a two-year deal but his shakiness all last fall was a GIANT red flag. David Price was more consistent. That's a warning.

 

I mean he's still a top closer. And when you get to the playoffs your top 3 relievers are Eovaldi, Porcello and Sale anyways haha

6 years to a closer at any age is pretty dumb that's all
