I could have sworn I heard Trump talking to ABC News last night suggesting his campaign apparel is made in China because he couldn't find a better cost-effective manufacturer in the U.S.

lol holy shit. He's going full on conspiracy with it. "she's probably being blackmailed by our enemies because they have emails that we don't!"

Honestly, Trump has made way too much sense with a lot of his criticism of Clinton over the past few weeks.

It's not so much what he's saying, it's the hypocracy of the people applauding him. He's standing up there talking like a dove and his followers, who are almost undoubtedly "turn the region to glass!" people, are eating it up like they agree with him.

I have been a little out of the loop, what has he been saying?

"Look at prominent Democrats like New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy, New Jersey Sen. Corey Booker, or Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Each has, to one degree or another, criticized unions, pushed for lower corporate taxes and undermined public schools. Like Clinton, each enjoys cozy relationships with economic elites. And these aren’t random minor-league politicians, but the kind of prominent leaders who help define the party. The scraps between Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders in the primary have undermined the traditional economic definitions of the Democratic Party, as well. In the effort to defeat Sanders, Clinton and her surrogates in the media attacked single payer health insurance and free college tuition, two long-cherished goals of the American left. Clinton’s policy proposals are in general a strange patchwork, with a lot of populist rhetoric wedded to incrementalist reforms and the perpetuation of the status quo. It’s another indication of a party that does not know its own purpose."

Donald Trump’s problems are making it too easy for Democrats to ignore their own

Malloy sucks. He's cutting education and mental health while giving his cronies comfy state jobs.

    In non-Trump related political/policy news:

The House GOP (aka Paul Ryan) released their plan to replace ObamaCare. Here's the white paper. Spoiler alert: It's basically ObamaCare just less generous to the sick and the poor, as every plan or pseudo-plan they've released has been.

Part of the Democratic caucus in the House is staging a sit-in on the House floor right now, demanding a gun control vote.

  15. Yeah fuck Malloy, that whole thing with the hospitals too. Ugh

Apparently, Clinton just scheduled a campaign with Elizabeth Warren, strongly suggesting she's the VP pick.

Fucking barf. What a waste of what was a promising public official.

The gun control issue strikes me as a way for grandstanding and highlighting differences without actually talking about the issues facing many people. It certainly isn't a winning strategy to say the least.

Interesting move by Clinton given that donors threatened to walk away if Warren is the pick

Agreed. Warren's messages now can be heard by the entire country instead of only those willing to educate themselves, such a shame.

Apparently, Houselive.gov is a camera thnig that allows you to watch the House floor (not CSPAN though?), and it's controlled by Paul Ryan as house leader, and he has the cameras turned off lol.

    What a shithead.

Don't VPs usually just say exactly what the President says? Meaning Warren's 'progressivism' becomes pretty useless

Did you guys see that Rep. John Yarmuth is participating in a sit in to "demand action on commonsense gun legislation"?

On one hand, giving it to Warren gives Trump a ton of sexist ammo. But on the other hand, Trump tends to shoots himself in the foot.

I don't think he's qualified, but I'd like to imagine that if she chose Julian Castro, the death punch to Trump's campaign would be anti-Cuban rhetoric

    Castro isn't Cuban

    Not here. Isn't happening. Supporter

By supporting and even partnering with Clinton, Warren is showing her message is a farce, and all talk and no action being a staple of being democrat. I mean what message is Warren sending by yelling about corporate influence and then partnering and supporting a candidate who represents it? They can be war hawks together regardless I suppose.
